2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and maintain your business listing in our directory
• Optimize your listing for AI answer engines
• Verify business ownership during the claim process
• Process payments for paid plans
• Send transactional emails related to your account
• Improve our services and user experience

3. Payment Data

We use Stripe to process payments. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers. When you make a payment, your card details are sent directly to Stripe via their secure, PCI-compliant infrastructure. We only receive a tokenized reference to your payment method, along with basic transaction details such as the amount, date, and status.

4. Analytics

The data shared with AI platforms includes publicly visible business information such as your business name, address, services, hours, and description. We do not share your personal contact email or payment information with AI platforms.

6. Data Sharing

Your business listing information is publicly visible by design, as the purpose of Get Found is to increase your business's visibility to AI models and potential customers. We do not sell your personal contact information to third parties.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure data storage.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data according to the following schedule:

• Business listing data: Retained for as long as your listing is active on Get Found. If you are on a paid plan, your enhanced listing data is retained for the duration of your subscription.
• Account data: If you request deletion of your account, we will delete your personal account data within 30 days of receiving and verifying your request.
• Payment records: Transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years as required for tax and legal compliance purposes.
• Analytics data: Anonymized analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics configuration (up to 14 months).

9. Your Rights

You may request to update, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by contacting us. If you have claimed a listing, you can manage your business information through your dashboard.
