1. Who This Policy Applies To
This policy applies to all users of Get Found, including:
- Business owners and authorized representatives who claim and manage listings
- Visitors who browse or interact with business listings
- Anyone who accesses our website, APIs, or related services
By using Get Found, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.
2. Prohibited Uses
You may not use Get Found to:
- Submit fake reviews: Creating, soliciting, or posting fraudulent reviews or testimonials for any business listing.
- Impersonate businesses: Claiming a listing for a business you do not own or are not authorized to represent.
- Send spam or unsolicited communications: Using information obtained from Get Found to send unsolicited marketing messages, emails, or other communications to businesses or users.
- Scrape data at scale: Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to extract data from Get Found in bulk without prior written permission.
- Manipulate AI visibility scores: Attempting to artificially inflate or manipulate the AI visibility scores or rankings displayed on Get Found through deceptive means.
- Claim businesses you do not own: Submitting false ownership verification information to claim a listing that does not belong to you.
- Engage in illegal activity: Using the platform for any activity that violates applicable local, state, national, or international laws.
- Interfere with the service: Attempting to disrupt, overload, or compromise the security or performance of Get Found's systems or infrastructure.
3. Content Standards
All content submitted to Get Found, including business information, descriptions, and images, must meet the following standards:
- Accurate business information: Business names, addresses, phone numbers, service areas, and hours of operation must be truthful and current.
- No misleading claims: Descriptions must not contain false or exaggerated claims about services, qualifications, pricing, or customer outcomes.
- Real photos only: Images uploaded to your listing must be genuine photographs of your business, team, or completed work. Stock photos, AI-generated images presented as real, or photos belonging to other businesses are not permitted.
- No offensive content: Content must not be defamatory, obscene, hateful, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- No intellectual property violations: You must have the right to use all content you submit, including text, images, and logos.
4. Enforcement
We take violations of this policy seriously. Depending on the nature and severity of the violation, we may take the following actions:
- Warning: For first-time or minor violations, we may issue a written warning with instructions to correct the issue.
- Content removal: We may remove or edit content that violates this policy without prior notice.
- Account suspension: Repeated or serious violations may result in temporary suspension of your account and listing.
- Account termination: Severe or ongoing violations may result in permanent termination of your account. No refund will be provided for accounts terminated due to policy violations.
We reserve the right to determine, at our sole discretion, whether a violation has occurred and what enforcement action is appropriate.

If you believe a listing or user is violating this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it to us at hello@getfound.now. Include as much detail as possible, including the listing URL and a description of the violation. We will review all reports and take appropriate action.
